Theist’s Risk
To worship quick the faulted sound
The loud and calling voice
The empty vow of joy to find
In places boasting choice
While seems to lack a truth therein
Those dazzling hands bear lies
“Put out the thought of other means
Embrace what God designs”
In doing thus, lose more than self
Lose freedom, life and this
Becomes the mourner’s quiet knell
The theist’s awful risk
